What is a Mastermind?

There are many types of Masterminds.

EVIL MASTERMINDS FICTIONAL and REAL
There are evil masterminds including fictional characters such as Dr.
No and Goldfinger, from the Bond Series. There are real people
creating true evil and unleashing it on the world…individuals such as
Osama bin Laden and Kahlid Sheik Mohamed.

GREAT MASTERMINDS
Then We have great thinkers like Leonardo DaVinci, Ben
Franklin, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstien and Bill Gates who have
created wonderful things that have helped mankind.

MASTERMINDING GROUPS
There are also Mastermind Groups. Consider for example Andew Carnegie,
the Rockefellers, and the Vanderbilts. These were the founders of a
concept to gather together in a formal setting to share their
ideas, ask questions and learn from each other. Alliances were formed,
business partnerships and joint ventures were created, and their
abilities to grow and prosper, both financially and personally, were
deeply enhanced.

MASTERMINDING HAS BEEN AROUND FOREVER IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER
This concept was not new to our innovative ancestors. Royalty and the
elite have been doing this for centuries and the world has been
influenced greatly by these connections. But our Innovative Fathers
did create a formal tradition out of it.

MASTERMINDING TODAY
The formal structure of a Mastermind Group is relatively new and with
the age of information upon us, it is no longer a benefit enjoyed
solely by the rich. Everyday people are becoming familiar with the
concept and utilizing it to create an ability to connect that was once
only available to the upper echelons of society.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF MASTERMINDING?

AN ABILITY TO CONNECT WITH HIGHLY INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE
Through Mastermind Groups one can gain the ability to reach CEO’s,
Chairman of the Boards, and other highly educated people. This makes
it possible for anyone wishing to grow, learn and develop the chance
to get connected with truly powerful individuals.

AN ABILITY TO HARNESS THE COLLECTIVE POWER OF A GROUP
By forming groups of like-minded people, it is now easier than ever to
increase one’s knowledge and connections in any area they choose.
Having formal meetings creates a vehicle to take individuals to a
higher level personally and professionally, through connecting and
sharing ideas. It helps people achieve individual goals and create an
atmosphere where new ideas are born, nurtured and developed into
successful entities. Concepts emerge from the collective that might
not otherwise be conceived.

ACCESS TO AND CREATION OF A SAFE HAVEN
The group has its own identity and personality that each individual
contributes to and benefits from. A Mastermind group becomes a safe
haven for developing ideas and sharing thoughts. Opportunities give
rise to the creation of business connections, joint ventures,
partnerships and alliances that benefit the members. By opening myself
up to participate in a Mastermind Group myself, I have met other
people I might not otherwise have had access to, and made friends and
acquaintances that I never thought possible or even dreamed about. The
power of the Mastermind Group is exponential and immeasurable.

SO NOW WHAT??

If you are not in one already, or have not considered being in a
Mastermind Group I suggest you look into the possibilities. Seek out
an existing group or form your own and get started on a new path to
prosperity and growth that can take you to levels you never thought
possible.

What You Give Makes You a Life

Today I would like to share with you a few facts about giving.

Jim Rohn said “Giving starts the receiving process”.

Many think that means you give to get back, creating indebtedness by the person receiving to be sure to get back something. This is not the case.

Giving actually creates an environment of abundance and redirects your energy and focus.

Giving to others is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

The act of giving will increase your health, adding years to your life.

It has also been proven that giving increases your level of endorphins in your body creating an actual “high”.  This increase in endorphins develops your immune system, improves your emotional health making you stronger, more energetic, and may also reduce aches and pains.

Helping others is better than exercising four times a week!

Becoming a giver at an early age will bring positive effects throughout your entire life. Giving can help with chronic illnesses such as HIV, MS and heart problems. The single greatest act to extend life in your later years, giving!

What you get makes you a living, what you give makes you a life!
